This book, made in a workshop with Susan Joy Share at Anderson Ranch Art Center, used text from a writing exercise as a jumping off point. Made of hinged, rigid panels with three across with a fourth hinged to the center panel at the bottom. Three of the five SX-70's are hinged at the top; when they are lifted, the text is revealed. Because of the text placement and sculptural, the text snippets can be read in a variety of different orders.
It pleases me to know how few remember this time. Not true to say I miss you I don't . . . I often imagine the ravings of your final moments. The beast I escaped never left your side.
